Calling all artists, aspiring artists, doodlers, photographers and creatives of all levels

Here's your chance to display your work at NoRa

For the month of May 2025 -  NoRa's anniversary month -  we want to decorate our walls with the works of the members of our community.

Here are the details:

During the month of May (NoRa’s anniversary month), we will be hosting a Community Art Wall at NoRa.  Art on display during May will be works created by any NoRa Community member who is interested in having their work on display.  All NoRa community members are encouraged to submit their work for consideration regardless of skill level.  To thank our customers, priority consideration will be given to NoRa’s loyalty members.  Each artist selected will be able to have one (1) piece of art displayed during the month.  If more than one piece of art is submitted, NoRa will choose which piece to display. Artists may choose to have their work for sale during the exhibit.  If they do, artists must handle the transaction themselves. 

To submit work for consideration, artists should e-mail the following information to art@noracafenc.com by the end of April.  Artists will be notified by e-mail if they are selected and the process for displaying their work.   

• Artist Name
  • If looking for priority consideration, please provide the phone number associated with your Loyalty account
• Picture of work to be displayed
• Description of the work (e.g. painting, photo, multi-media piece, etc.)
• Size of piece of work [needed to help us determine where it can be displayed]
• How it will be installed? 
  • PLEASE CONFIRM:  Are you able to commit to installing your work in the space designated at NoRa?
• Are you planning on having your work for sale while on exhibit?
  • PLEASE CONFIRM: If so, do you agree to handle the sale of the piece without assistance from NoRa’s team?
• Are you able to commit to displaying the piece for the month of May?

THE FINE PRINT

• You may submit as many entries as you like for consideration but only one piece per artist selected will be displayed to allow for the maximum number of artists to display
• If you do offer your work for sale, there is no commission due to NoRa.  If you would like to donate a portion of your sale to a charity NoRa has designated, please let us know.
• It is the artist’s responsibility to install/hang their art at an agreed upon time in the location designated by NoRa.  The artist must label their work with the artist’s name, name of piece, any description they would like and, if for sale, price and manner in which to purchase
• All art to be displayed must align with NoRa’s principles of Community, Inclusivity and Respect.  Any piece that doesn’t meet these principles or is offensive, disrespecttful or overly controversial will not be considered.  NoRa’s management will have the sole discretion of which art is selected and may choose at any time to add, remove or replace art for any reason.
• Artist agrees to display art through May 31st even if sold unless an arrangement has been agreed upon by NoRa.
• Please note, while we will attempt to allow as many artists the opportunity to exhibit, NoRa does not commit to exhibiting art from all artists submitting.
